BRING BACK THE BONANZA
The Montana Senate Race
The Montana Senate race is between the incumbent Republican senator, Steve Daines, and Democratic state Governor, Steve Bullock. This race mainly decides who effectively contributed to the fall from the coronavirus pandemic, especially with rising unemployment.

Governor Steve Bullock claims his response to Coronavirus pandemic was more effective as Montana dropped to the lowest new infection rate on coronavirus and lowest death rate in the nation. The state’s unemployment claims are going down by 20,000 per week
Steve Danies claims to save the small businesses by passing a paycheck protection bill in the senate. He holds large support from rural areas of the state, which are mostly Republican.

The state has elected state officials such as governor and attorney general from the Democratic party with one senator still from the Democratic party. However, in the 2016 election, President Trump won over 58% of votes and a state with a larger Republican voters population. So, overall this senate race is categorized as a toss-up state.
